Fiddlers feast on Gators to return to the Final Four

Cole Penton hit a two-run double in the first inning to help the Fighting Fiddlers to a big early lead and they cruised to an 11-2 win against the Garrison Gators on Thursday afternoon.

Carson Dean, Larry Floyd III, and Cole Penton each finished with three hits for Isle of Hope, which earned the Fiddlers a spot in the SCCPSS Middle School Final Four. Fiddlers left-hander Riley Byrd (4-2) went 2 2/3 innings, allowing two runs and three hits while striking out one and walking two. Larry Floyd III closed the game not allowing any runs and striking out three.
