2019-20 “Fiddler Craze” Theme Nights

Apart of the Isle of Hope Athletic Department's commitment to athletic excellence is creating opportunities for parents, students, faculty, staff and stakeholders to display their school pride. It is with great enthusiasm that the IOH Athletic Department announces the following themed nights for all IOH supporters to show their Fighting Fiddler Pride:

December 16 vs. Georgetown School - Ugly Christmas Sweater Night: "Nerd Night”: “Get Geeked Up!!”; Even nerds need a study break. Prize for the best dress geek. Think TV show “Big Bang Theory” for inspiration. In the spirit of Christmas, you can wear an ugly sweater as we face the Lions of Georgetown School.

January 9 vs. Rice Creek School - "Burgundy Boogie"/ Neon Night: On this Throwback Thursday, we will be having a ‘80s themed disco in the student section of the bleachers. Wear your ‘70s or ‘80s gear and prepare to boogie. The Fighting Fiddlers will be facing the Cardinals of Rice Creek School.

January 15 vs Myers Middle School - "ESPN College Game Day"/ Big Head Night Join the Fiddler Craze as we turn the student section into a set on ESPN's show College Game-day!" Make signs for your favorite players, teachers, or coaches! Or you can make a big head cut out of your favorite player, celebrity, teacher, or even yourself. Most creative “big head” wins a prize. (Big head cannot be larger than 4 feet-by-3 feet). The Fiddlers will be in action against the Gators of Myers Middle School.

February 5 vs. Savannah Classical Academy – Hoopcoming 2020/ "Whiteout": “Support the Fiddler Fight, Turn the Palace White!!!”  Support your Fighting Fiddlers by wearing white for “Hoopcoming 2K20” at the Sand Castle, as the Fighting Fiddlers tango with the Spartans of Savannah Classic.

February 19 vs. Oglethorpe Charter School - “Blackout/ 8th Grade Night/ Teacher Appreciation Support your Fighting Fiddlers by wearing Black for our final home game of the season against the Titans of Oglethorpe Charter School. Join as we honor our upperclassmen that chose to play basketball under the lights at the Sandcastle on the Isle. Teachers will be recognized between the girls and boys game. Teachers that will be recognize, will be seated in the new courtside seat section.
